Web developers design and create websites. They are responsible for the look of the site. They are also responsible for the site's technical aspects, such as its performance and capacity, which are measures of a website's speed and how much traffic the site can handle
Students will show mastery of event objects and HTML objects by creating a “voting machine” for the presidential election between Nixon and McGovern. This project is going to be very different for everyone. It will require creativity and knowledge of objects. You are going to create a rigged voting machine that wants you to vote for Nixon, if you try to vote for McGovern then something else will happen that won’t let you vote. Please vary these events as you go, they should happen in some kind of order not all at once.
Students will practice manipulating JSON objects and displaying information from that JSON by creating a pokedex for 3 pokemon This project will be done in a group and you will all be required to document what you did to help the team. That means that you will need a README.md file that describes the project, documents the progress you made, and tracks the work that each partner is doing.
Students will demonstrate their mastery of front end development by completing a group project using ALL of the key concepts that we have learned this semester. This is a cumulative project to show off your front end development including UX/UI (user experience and user interaction). This should focus on the look and feel of the site, I need to see that you can communicate direction, flow, and feel using colors and images.
